History curriculum overview
The school operates a two-year rolling programme. The teaching of History follows an enquiry-based model and is taught in blocks (1 to 4 weeks). Unit plans are designed to follow an overarching line of enquiry about a particular event, person or period in history and each lesson, or sequence of lessons, is based on the exploration of a ‘key question’.
